Pastor Yomi gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1992 at the age of 21 at the Potters House Church in Walthamstow. It was there he met Kadi and they later married in 1996. Pastor Yomi was sent out to Lagos Nigeria in 2000 as a missionary, where he ministered the gospel of Jesus Christ and planted numerous churches. He returned in 2010 and served on pastoral staff in the Walthamstow Church. In May 2014 with his wife and four children, he took over the Shepherd's Bush Church and has since planted two churches.
